On average, a child laughs 300 times a day while an adult laughs only 17 times a day so watch your children this Christmas, how they find delight in the most ordinary things and if things start to get a little on top, make sure you remember this time of year is all about the little ones.
Laugh at situations. Look for the good side of a bad situation, and uncover the humour of it. This should help to improve your mood and the mood of those around you.
Be spontaneous. Be natural and spontaneous, it’s will help you relax and feel happy being you.
Remind yourself to have fun. Be mindful and basically keep reminding yourself to have fun.

Smile lots. Smiling leads to laughter and just like laughter, it’s contagious.
Hear laughter, go find it. If you hear laughter, make sure you levitate towards it.
Ask people about their recent fun. “What’s the funniest thing that’s happened to you recently”? is a great way to get the laughter rolling.
Be happy to laugh at yourself. Be willing to make light of yourself, share embarrassing moments, fun times and memories.
